C Layer 1

     Over the course of reading chapters 1-6, and reading C layer 1, I feel as if I did my best work on the vocabulary test.  I liked this part because I learned 10 new words, and the definitions stuck with me fairly well.  Also, I thought that the close reading was not very bad at all to annotate and make claims.

     Although parts of C layer one were easy, I had trouble answering some of the questions on the reading guides.  I often had to go back in my book and search for the answers because I had not remembered them.  In the future, I think annotating or reading more closely will help me do better on answering the questions.
