Tambu goes to one of her first dances for christmas, and has a good time with her friends. Andy, one of Nyardzo's brothers, walks Tambu, Chido, and Nyasha home. Once they get back, Tambu and Chido try to sneak inside without getting caught by Babamukuru, and Nyasha talks to Andy outside. They all get caught, and Nyasha gets in huge trouble with Babamukuru.
I think that Babamukuru was way to hard on Nyasha and over reacted. It is very wrong to me that he would call his daughter what he said, and it is even worse that he would physically fight her. I understand that Babamukuru wants to be protective over his daughter but all they were doing was talking. Maybe it was okay to do this in their culture but I disagree with the way that he acted towards Nyasha.
